Hey neighbor!

My name is Beth St. John, your new NOLA Dog Adventure Guide! I am a dog mom, a freelance caregiver (for pets, people & homes alike) as well as performance

(stage, television, and Shower Singer Extrordinaire).

I grew up in the North Bay, California, minutes from the coast, redwoods and river. College took up me up the coast into the Ashland, Oregon mountains. Hiking in nature has been a vital part of my life since I could walk!

Before landing in New Orleans, I'd been living the urban city life in Brooklyn, New York, but still found myself on the train to a trail every chance I got.

Jack, the fluffy flat coated retriever/spaniel mix you see in the top right photo, has been my adventure buddy for nearly 12 years. Before him, my family never went more than a month without a canine companion. We've loved and cared for dogs ranging from chihuahuas to wolf-mixes.

For over a decade, I have held a variety of professional pet care jobs including:

-Vet Assistant for a mobile care company

-Kennel Attendant for a doggy daycare and boarding

-Dog Walker for a professional NYC company, Wag, Rover, and countless personal clients

I hold a certificate in Pet First Aid/CPR from the American Red Cross and keep a first aid kit handy on every adventure. Your pets safety (and fun) are of utmost importance to me.

I look forward to meeting your favorite furry friend and

hittin' the trails!
